“ The owner and chef is such a nice and simple person. He is really passionate about cooking. The restaurant is good for couples or groups up to 12 people. The ingredients are all natural organic and healthy. The food is delicious. We had the Beats and Carrots Salad for the appetizer, burger with fries and Potato Gnocchi, Apple Pie for dessert. Everything was cooked quickly, even though the restaurant was full. We were very pleased with our dinner. I highly recommend the restaurant! ”
“ The Chef/owner is a wonderful man who cares about the ingredients in the dishes he prepares. Everything I have eaten has been delicious. .......some of the food is sourced from the Organic Regenerative Dutch Meadows Farm of Paradise, Pennsylvania, so you know you are eating the highest possible quality foods in the entire earth. ”
“ This place is an absolute gem! The borscht was the best I’ve ever had—deep, rich flavors that felt both comforting and elevated (I wonder if they added a bit of wine to it? Something about it was very special). The grass-fed NY strip with wine and mushroom sauce was heavenly, incredibly flavorful yet clean and light. (My woeful photography skills really don't do this steak any justice) I don't like dessert, but my husband convinced me to try the apple pie with cheddar ice cream and I was genuinely sad we had to share—it was that good! The best part? Despite eating so much, I left feeling amazing—not heavy or sluggish like I usually do after a restaurant meal. You can tell the owner puts real thought into sourcing high-quality, hearty and clean ingredients. Can’t wait to come back! ”
“ had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The food was truly delicious, each bite an explosion of flavors that blew me away. Also, the attention to detail in the decor created a charming and cozy atmosphere that really complemented the dining experience. And the desserts, simply sublime! I can't stop thinking about those sweet and luscious flavors. I definitely look forward to going back and trying the rest of the menu. Highly recommended for those looking for an exceptional dining experience! ”
“ One of the best restaurants I've been to in a while. Everything I had tasted fresh with amazing flavor. The burger had a phenomenal meaty taste. The wild boar Pappardelle was also perfect. It was a pasta dish that did not rely on overly saucing to make it delish, but the right amount of sauce alongside tender wild boar. I can't wait to go back! ”
“ I loved this place, which is far from the main restaurant area in Bay Ridge and feels like a well-kept secret. I had dinner, but they do lunch too. This restaurant is completely unpretentious, with a relaxing atmosphere where you're just going to eat great food. The dinner menu isn't large, but one gets the sense that's because they know what they want to make. I had pasta with kale and sausage, a beet salad, and their namesake cake with homemade ice cream. I never review restaurants and am not serious about food, but immediately sensed I was going to write this, as thanks for the great experience. I'll be back. ”
“ Such a hidden gem! Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The scallops were perfectly seared, the roasted broccoli was packed with flavor, and the beet and carrot hummus was a colorful and tasty surprise. The cozy, artistic vibe inside made it even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place that truly delivers on both taste and atmosphere! ”
“ We've been in Brooklyn for less than a week and have already been here twice. Hands down the best food I've had in NYC. The chicken and the duck breast were amazing. Portions are european, but it's a good price for what you get - a delicious food experience. And the beet and carrot cake was something else. The location is small but spacious, with jazz music playing in the background. For some odd reason there weren't too many people when we ate here. I never write reviews, but this is a must eat in Brooklyn, just had to let people know. ”
